We’re here to help members reach their independent creative goals. Artists at The Northeast Arts Commune are creative types that come from varying backgrounds and differ in age and experiences. (You must be at least 18+ to be member.)

Membership Add-Ons

The Northeast Arts Commune will also offer four membership add-ons: Ceramics Access, Glass Fusing Access, Photography Studio Access, & Darkroom Access. These add-ons are designed with a creative in mind who already has prior background/skill in the desired area.

Ceramic members will have access to the 2 pottery wheels in the communal space at any time as well as the pottery wheels in the ceramics room, except at minimal posted hours when classes are taking place in the ceramics room. The Northeast Arts Commune will run a regular firing schedule in which members can sign up to have their pieces fired. Some clay, glaze, and firing are included in membership price. Additional clay is available for purchase.

Glass fusing members will have access to the glass fusing storage space and lockers + borrowed tool kit. All tools must be returned at the end of membership. The Northeast Arts Commune will run a regular firing schedule in which members can sign up to have their pieces fired.  Some glass and firing are included in membership price. Additional glass is available for purchase. If members bring their own glass they must assure it’s COE 90 or risk losing membership! Due to insurance reasons, members may not fire their own ceramic or glass pieces.

We do not offer firing only passes at this time although it’s something we’re considering. Please give us feedback on your needs at info@thenortheastartscommune.com
