Because a good homie lent me his DJ deck I (founder Jordyn) was able to learn how to mix music over COVID. A whole new world of possibilities opens up when you have the right tools/equipment, and support to follow your creative endeavors. That’s what we want for The Northeast Arts Commune—a kick-ass space for creatives to be inspired and to do their thaaaang with nothing holding them back!! Can you help us bring this vision to life?? We wanna hear from YOU!

Volunteering with Free Arts MN

Every Wednesday morning you can find me at Franklin Middle School volunteering with Free Arts MN through the Big Brother Big Sister program. Free Arts MN brings creative arts to youth who may have experienced poverty, homelessness, abuse, or mental illness. With the support of caring mentors, young people unlock their creativity and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment.

Classes we’ve been taking: Launch MN Value Proposition Design Course Summer 2021

The University of Minnesota MIN-Corps program is proud to work with Launch Minnesota, an initiative of MN-DEED, helping you translate your innovation to a fundable, high-growth business. We use the Lean Startup (also called Lean LaunchPad) approach, a structured process to quickly assess and refine business concepts, thus avoiding costly mistakes and accelerating your progress to market launch. Five modules: lean startup intro, product-market fit, customer discovery, pathway to commercialization, and market assessment.

Webinars are free and open to anyone interested in learning about the Lean Startup process. You can learn more here.
